Atlas Copco acquires H&F Drilling Supplies

With effect of the 1^st September 2010, H&F Drilling Supplies Ltd has been acquired by Atlas Copco Construction & Mining Ltd, UK.

Founded in 1873, Atlas Copco Construction & Mining Ltd are a world leading provider in construction and mining equipment and have established customer centers in 160 countries worldwide of which 67 countries encompass manufacturing facilities. Incorporating our other business areas of Compressors and Generators and Industrial Tools we strive to be a market leader in the markets we serve with the view to become and remain, first in mind - first in choice.

With a strong service culture and emphasis on customer relationships H & F Drilling Supplies is a good fit for the Atlas Copco group. The acquisition provides the possibility to enhance product portfolio and presence in the drilling sector, creating increased sales opportunities across the UK.
